I was born and raised in Alaska, which makes me a nature lover by default. I would hunt and fish with my family as a child, and was constantly surrounded by nature’s beauty. I did some extensive hiking as a teenager but then fell off as life caught up with me. A few years ago I began hiking as a way to center myself and get out of the house after a bad divorce. It was on my first solo backpacking trip that I got naked in nature for the first time and I loved the feeling. It was so freeing to just walk around this beautiful setting in the buff. My first blog post is actually all about that trip!

I really enjoy hiking, backpacking, skiing, and snowshoeing, whether I can find a place to get naked or not. I’m not a nudist. I do, however, appreciate that liberating feeling of being completely naked. And honestly I also enjoy the thrill of trying not to get caught while taking naked pics out in the woods.

I also really love live music. I’d say that besides spending time outdoors, that is my second favorite thing. The best concert I’ve been so so far was seeing Trevor Hall and Nahko & Medicine for the People at Red Rocks in Colorado. That setting is so amazing, their music is so powerful, and we were even treated to a thunder and lightning storm off in the distance and the beauty of a full moon above. It was a magical evening. But I also enjoy going to small venues and seeing my favorite artists more up close and personal. Music is medicine!

I go to nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put together.
